Your guide to the City of London

Guided walks through the City of London and Westminster

London City Walks: About Us

London City Walks have an ever-expanding number of walks on offer but please don’t feel that you have to pick one of these! For parties, we are very happy to consult on your requirements and design a new walk (or tailor an existing one) to suit you. We call these Bespoke Walks.

Walking London’s streets and alleyways is the only way to discover the secrets of this extraordinary city.

London City Walks is an established walking tours company, run by Pete Smith, a former university teacher and  a qualified and experienced City of London and City of Westminster guide, who writes and lectures on a variety of London-related issues.

TAILOR-

MADE WALKS SPECIALIST

Our bespoke walks have catered for parties ranging from university students to City property specialists, and from family parties to City livery companies. One of our more challenging and unusual commissions was to arrange a London-wide tour for a German writer seeking locations for a novel spanning high and low life in the London of the early 1890s. Whatever your motive or interest, please let us know.

Many of our walks have been devised in conjunction with the church of All Hallows by the Tower, the oldest church in the City of London, which is, as its name suggests, situated next to the Tower of London in Byward Street (nearest underground station Tower Hill on the Circle and District Lines).

To join our walks, there’s no need to book, just travel to the specified start point at the time shown and you will see us there.
