London City Walks: News

For more than a year, the Coronavirus pandemic kept London City Walks off the streets of London.  From July 2021, however, we have been back in business.

In addition to our repertoire of public walks, we are continuing to develop customised walking tours for a wide range of groups, from public companies to parties of families and friends booking tours to celebrate birthdays and other happy occasions.

Throughout the pandemic, ourtalkscontinued via Zoom to a variety of groups in and around London on subjects ranging from Dickens and his illustrators to London ghosts, and from Autumn 2021 these talks have been linked to follow-up walks on related themes

Our popular pub-themed walks will resume in the Summer, and further additions are being considered for later in the year. As our regular walkers already know, all our walks end close to at least one good pub and within easy reach of Underground and bus transport links.

As always, we are grateful to all our walkers for their friendship and good company, and also for the suggestions that have enabled us to improve and expand our portfolio to almost sixty walks.  During lockdown, Harper Collins commissioned Pete to outline twenty of these in a book entitled A-Z London Hidden Walks,  published on 3rd March.
