London City Walks: News

For more than a year, the Coronavirus pandemic has kept London City Walks off the streets of London.  From July 2021, however, we are delighted to be back in business.  Arrangements are outlined in our Welcome page.

We look forward to returning to a full repertoire of public walks as well as developing customised walking tours for a wide range of groups, from public companies to parties of families and friends booking tours to celebrate birthdays and other happy occasions. We shall also be contributing in September, for the first time in two years, to the Totally Thames celebrations.

Throughout the pandemic, our talks continued via Zoom to a variety of groups in and around London on subjects ranging from Dickens and his illustrators to London ghosts. Now these talks can again be linked to follow-up walks on related themes

Our popular pub-themed walks will resume after restrictions have been fully lifted, and further additions are being considered for 2022. As our regular walkers already know, all our walks end close to at least one good pub and within easy reach of Underground and bus transport links.

As always, we are grateful to all our walkers for their friendship and good company, and also for the suggestions that have enabled us to improve and expand our portfolio to almost sixty walks.
